Use of the ILDE-R10 blue with SUS case
Following the renovation of the road surface, the city of Izegem was looking for new road surface lighting at the Dirk Martenslaan crossing.
The current road surface lighting serves as a walkway to reach the town centre and consists of wired LED lighting. In order not to damage the current concrete pedestrian crossing for the construction of a 230V grid, a solution for autonomous road surface lighting was sought as a pilot project.
The product that best approximated the current LED lighting in size and colour was our ILDE-R10 blue. An extra SUS case was chosen which makes it easier to replace the product in case of a possible defect.
In the photo series below you will first find the situation as it was, with some defective light elements, the installation and the result !
