Use of ILSE-140 double side slow flashing white and blue.
At Rombas, a city just north of Metz (FR), the mayor has decided - in cooperation with Orne énergies, that the pedestrian crossings must be equipped with active solar road marking. The best product was the ILSE-140 double sided slow flashing blue for those crossings that needed extra attention and the ILSE-140 white in the other cases. As of today already 32 crossings are equipped with each 6 items installed in a erratic dive prodile (3 on each side). See pictures underneath. As the results were very positive, slower anticipating traffic, more crossings will be equipped.
The use of the ILSE-140 single side steady red is considered to be used to "underline" dangerous STOP signs at crossroads.
